James Lee:  I signed back in mid-January the Club for Growth Repeal It! pledge, the first SC4 candidate to do so. I will not only vote to repeal it, I will also do everything I can to defund the unconstitutional healthcare bill until it is repealed! Thanks for the question, Mark! reply

Scot: Mr. Lee, you say you support the "Fair Tax", why do you support a policy of taxing the middle class by 30% (which is more than what most of us pay under our current system)? And, why do you support welfare and redistribution of income? The Fair Tax proposal includes the largest income redistribution proposal ever suggested in the United States. The so called "prebate" is flat out income redistribution, but it is not redistributing income from ...more reply

Jim Lee:  Scot, first of all, with all due respect, I disagree with much of the bias upon which you've based your question. I do not "support a policy of taxing the middle class," "welfare," or "redistribution of income." I disagree with your conclusions about the FairTax. I'm curious from where you obtained your information.... ... Alex F: Jim - Do you support Senator DeMint's proposed amendment for term limits?

Do you believe a full repeal of the healthcare bill is possible? If not, how do you prioritize the changes?

Jim Lee:  I support Sen. DeMint's proposed amendment for term limits. I am open to discussing the precise number of terms.... ... I was the first candidate in SC4 to sign the RepealIt! pledge. Whether full repeal is possible I do not know. Vigorous effort towards defunding and repealing the entire bill is necessary.
